Assistant Buying Internship, Lola Saratoga
Description
This Assistant Buying Internship is designed to provide comprehensive experience with inventory management for a growing omni-channel company, including: two physical store locations, ecommerce platform, live selling platforms, and trunk show locations. Will report into Senior Assistant Buyer to assist with SKU creation and inventory management across all sales channels. Attention to detail, desire to learn, and a commitment to accuracy while thriving in a fast paced environment is key for success in this position.
Responsibilities

Assist with new SKU creation

“Tag” products to align with SKU organization and reporting needs as outlined by Buyer

Create product copy in line with the brand’s standards

Maintain accurate costs of goods and inventory counts for new and existing products

Ensure SKUs created align with product tags used in stores
-
Edit, maintain, and publish product photography for all SKUs
-
Take original detailed photography of all pre-owned items that arrive in store and edit to align with website imagery and highlight each item’s uniqueness

Coordinate and help execute on-figure photos and videos of every item
-
Attach brand photographs to all contemporary goods and make available for sale on our ecommerce platform

Manage Inventory

Monitor new arrivals each day and make sure they are accounted for accurately across our omni channel platforms & shopify

Responsible for accurately tracking store transfers and executing transfers between store locations (travel between stores once per week)

Input invoices
-
Check in products using the provided invoices as a reference and reporting any discrepancies to the Senior Assistant Buyer or Buyer

Enter new arrivals into the system, paying special attention to accuracy of SKU, quantity, and cost of goods

Maintain organized records of all goods received and discrepancies from invoices

Report in to Senior Assistant Buyer to remain aligned on inventory management

Work with Store Managers as needed for execution of in-store events
