SALES ASSOCIATE

Description

Lola Saratoga is looking for a dynamic team player to join our growing team! The Sales Associate works in conjunction with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and position Lola Saratoga as a leader in the Luxury Resale industry. They are responsible for ensuring the brand’s standards are upheld to create the best in-store experience for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in an upbeat and fast paced environment. The ideal candidate has customer service experience, is self-motivated, and has a positive attitude. A love for fashion, handbags, and pre-owned luxury is a must! 

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Perform and execute all elements of retail operation per brand guidelines/protocols, including opening and closing procedures
  • Effectively communicate and represent all aspects of our brand to customers, employees, and vendors
  • Develop product knowledge within brands and products carried and be able to relay knowledge with confidence and accuracy
  • Maximize in-store presence to meet sales goals through store presentation, product knowledge, and customer relationships
  • Assist store manager in executing in store events
  • Work with social media team as needed

Client & Relationship Building

  • Act as an ambassador of the brand by building a client base and developing relationships
  • Initiate sales through client base
  • Manage customer service-related questions as they arise in store, via phone, or as delegated by manager with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Elevate customer service issues to Manager as needed

Store & Operations Maintenance

  • Maintain visual standards as set forth by Store Manager, as it relates to ongoing promotions, themes, and available inventory
  • Take in customer feedback and implement relevant changes as it relates to feedback, or relay feedback to Manager
  • Communicate inventory and supply needs to Buyer/Manager as needed

STORE MANAGER

Description

Lola Saratoga is seeking a highly motivated and customer focused boutique manager with an undeniable passion for creating memorable experiences for our clientele. You will be an ambassador of the brand, ensuring that every client is treated according to our standards. By striving to discover your clients needs you will tailor their experience within our store in order to elevate their experience and impression of the brand while also ensuring to build long lasting relationships.

This is an opportunity for those who are outgoing, self motivated, ambitious and driven. We are looking for someone who will operate as a true personal ‘advisor' to their clients with a passion to develop their career in a luxury retail environment. With a strong strategic sales mindset, willingness to learn and a love for forming meaningful relationships across our client base, your self-driven and curious nature will continuously drive your personal and store performance. Ideally seeking individuals with previous retail experience however we will also consider those with a strong track record of working within a customer centric environment.

Responsibilities 

Day to Day

  • Perform and execute all elements of retail operation per brand guidelines/protocols
  • Effectively communicate and represent all aspects of our brand to customers, employees, and vendors
  • Maximize in-store presence to meet sales goals through store presentation, management, and customer relationships
  • Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and execute at minimum 4 store events each year
  • Work with social media team to promote and communicate new brands, product highlights, sales, and upcoming events

Operations

  • Take in customer feedback and implement relevant changes, and relay feedback to upper management as needed
  • Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures of the store
  • Maintain appropriate levels of store supplies and reorder supplies as needed, including packaging/shipping materials, office supplies, cleaning supplies, and any specialty materials
  • Day to day management: complete “daily sheets” for store complete with sales goals as supplied by upper management and list of daily tasks to be completed by scheduled staff member(s) 
  • Manage product inventory and take initiative with reorders of core and popular styles   

Client & Relationship Building

  • Act as an ambassador of the brand by building local client base and developing relationships
  • Manage customer service related questions, comments, and issues via email, website chat, and in person with professionalism and a positive attitude 
  • Initiate sales through the development of a client database of preferences and expressed retail needs/wants, including but not limited to utilization of wishlist 
  • Create a memorable experience for our clientele, and position our brand as a leader in the luxury handbag market
  • Communicate with organizations and track donations

Team Development/Staffing

  • Drive business results by maximizing daily sales plans and improving metrics through sales floor leadership, execution of training, and continuous development of sales staff
  • Provide consistent feedback that empowers and motivates our team and fosters a team environment by using effective communication skills 
  • Attract, recruit, and retain sales associates who are client focused and demonstrate the ability to drive sales
