Position Overview

Lola Saratoga is seeking a dynamic, sales-driven Luxury Live Selling Host to become one of the primary on-camera faces of our growing luxury resale brand.

The central responsibility of this role is to host engaging, high-performing live shopping broadcasts that drive sales, conversion, audience growth, and repeat business. You will present authenticated pre-owned luxury handbags, accessories, and small leather goods through confident product education, compelling storytelling, real-time audience engagement, and strong closing skills.

This is not a traditional social media creator position. It is a performance-based live-commerce role for someone who is energized by selling, comfortable on camera for extended periods, motivated by measurable results, and excited to build a loyal audience.

Outside of scheduled broadcasts, you will prepare for upcoming shows, strengthen your luxury product knowledge, develop featured collections and selling strategies, participate in brand content, and analyze performance to continuously improve results.

Primary Responsibilities

Live Selling and On-Camera Hosting

  • Host engaging live shopping broadcasts across TikTok and other emerging social-commerce platforms.
  • Present authenticated pre-owned luxury handbags, accessories, and small leather goods with confidence, energy, authenticity, and enthusiasm.
  • Create an elevated and entertaining shopping experience that keeps viewers engaged and encourages purchasing.
  • Educate viewers on designer heritage, craftsmanship, materials, condition, authenticity, resale value, functionality, and styling.
  • Translate detailed product information into clear, memorable, and compelling selling points.
  • Engage with viewers in real time by answering questions, responding to comments, overcoming objections, and confidently asking for the sale.
  • Build urgency and excitement without compromising Lola Saratoga’s elevated brand standards.
  • Develop a recognizable and authentic on-camera presence that strengthens audience trust and loyalty.
  • Maintain energy, professionalism, and sales momentum throughout extended live broadcasts.
  • Meet or exceed established live-sales, conversion, margin, audience-engagement, and performance goals.

Show Planning and Preparation

  • Develop show concepts, product lineups, featured collections, talking points, and promotional strategies.
  • Prepare thoroughly for each broadcast by reviewing product details, condition notes, pricing, designer history, and relevant selling opportunities.
  • Partner with the merchandising and marketing teams to identify products and collections that are well suited for live selling.
  • Organize products and supporting materials before each broadcast to ensure a polished and efficient show.
  • Develop clear show rundowns that support pacing, product rotation, promotional moments, and sales objectives.
  • Stay informed about new arrivals, inventory priorities, seasonal trends, and audience interests.
  • Continuously refine show structure and product presentation based on performance results.

Sales Performance and Optimization

  • Take ownership of individual live-sales performance and established revenue goals.
  • Review show-level sales, conversion, margin, engagement, and audience-retention metrics.
  • Identify patterns in viewer behavior, product performance, pricing, and presentation style.
  • Apply performance data and coaching feedback to improve future broadcasts.
  • Continuously refine storytelling, product demonstrations, objection handling, pacing, and closing techniques.
  • Test new selling approaches while maintaining Lola Saratoga’s elevated luxury positioning.
  • Maintain strong familiarity with featured inventory, product condition, pricing, and key selling points.

Audience and Community Development

  • Build a loyal live-shopping audience that returns consistently to watch and purchase.
  • Recognize returning viewers and create a welcoming sense of community during broadcasts.
  • Encourage meaningful interaction through questions, product comparisons, styling conversations, and audience participation.
  • Build trust by presenting products accurately, transparently, and confidently.
  • Respond to viewer questions and product inquiries generated during live broadcasts.
  • Help convert first-time viewers into repeat purchasers and long-term Lola Saratoga clients.
  • Strengthen audience loyalty through consistency, authenticity, expertise, and a distinctive on-camera presence.

Brand Content and Collaboration

  • Participate in short-form video, educational content, product features, promotional campaigns, and brand launches.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on live-commerce campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and audience-growth strategies.
  • Contribute ideas for new live-show formats, recurring segments, special events, and promotional concepts.
  • Stay informed about livestreaming trends, social-commerce features, platform developments, and audience preferences.
  • Ensure all live broadcasts and supporting content remain aligned with Lola Saratoga’s elevated brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Represent Lola Saratoga with professionalism, warmth, confidence, and integrity both on and off camera.

Performance incentives are available based on established sales objectives and overall business performance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in live selling, livestream hosting, luxury sales, commission-based sales, broadcasting, entertainment, hospitality, or another customer-facing sales environment is preferred.
  • Comfortable speaking naturally and confidently in front of a live audience for extended periods.
  • Strong on-camera presence with the ability to maintain energy, focus, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional verbal communication, storytelling, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to achieve measurable performance goals.
  • Ability to answer questions, handle objections, and confidently close sales in real time.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for luxury fashion, designer products, and the resale industry.
  • Comfortable receiving coaching, reviewing performance results, and continuously improving.
  • Highly organized, dependable, adaptable, and attentive to detail.
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, livestreaming, or social-commerce platforms is preferred.
  • Willingness to continuously develop luxury product knowledge and selling expertise.
  • Positive and collaborative approach in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Lola Saratoga’s Saratoga Springs and Albany locations as required.

A passion for learning, selling, and connecting with an audience is more important than knowing every designer or product detail on day one.

Additional Details

  • Full-time, in-person position.
  • Live broadcasts and related work will take place across Lola Saratoga’s Saratoga Springs and Albany locations.
  • Regular travel between both locations may be required.
  • Schedule flexibility is required and includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and live-selling broadcasts based on business needs.
  • Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Eligible for full-time benefits and performance-incentive programs.
