Part-Time Social Media Content Creator

Part-Time Content Correspondent:

Location: In Person — Saratoga Springs & Albany, NY (travel between locations required)

Job Type: Part-Time (20-25 hours/week)

About the Role

Lola Saratoga is looking for a confident, creative, and highly reliable Content Correspondent to bring our brand to life across our social media and digital marketing channels. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable on camera, understands what makes content perform, and thrives on turning marketing strategy into consistent content, engagement, and sales. The ideal candidate combines creativity with strong technical content skills, including filming, editing, and adapting content for multiple platforms.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing Agency, executing weekly priorities, capturing in-store content, and keeping our channels active, on-brand, and aligned with campaign directives. You'll serve as a recognizable face of the Lola Saratoga brand, helping bring products, styling, and store experiences to life through engaging content. 

Reporting & Collaboration

-Works directly with our Marketing Agency

-Participates in weekly check-ins and submits weekly updates/deliverables to the agency

-Collaborates day-to-day with store leadership, buying, and operations to align on featured products and capturing inventory in real time

Key Responsibilities

-Execute weekly content and marketing directives provided by the Marketing Agency (posting plan, campaign themes, promos).

-Capture on-brand content in-store: new arrivals, unboxings, try-ons, styling, current trends, staff picks, behind-the-scenes, and customer favorites.

-Edit and optimize content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other assigned channels, with strong attention to pacing, hooks, captions, trends, and platform best practices.

-Adapt content concepts across multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency.

-Collaborate with the Marketing Agency to execute content strategies and identify opportunities for engaging, high-performing content.

-Track content performance and apply learnings to future content creation.

-Publish on schedule with strong attention to captions, tags, and brand voice.

-Create on-brand promotional assets in Canva using templates and brand guidelines (stories, event promos, offer graphics).

-Execute email and event marketing by collecting content inputs (photos, product highlights, short copy, store updates).

-Execute in-store events in partnership with store management and buying team.

-Acts as a brand ambassador for the Lola Saratoga brand.

What We’re Looking For

-Comfortable on camera.

-Strong short-form content skills (filming + editing) with an eye for luxury presentation.

-Able to follow direction, stay organized, and deliver consistently week to week.

-Proficient in Canva and comfortable working from templates.

-Positive, professional communicator—responsive to feedback and quick with revisions.

-Necessary to work in person and travel between Saratoga Springs and Albany.

Bonus Points

-Knowledge of luxury handbags, resale, or fashion styling.

-Familiarity with content calendars, briefs, and executing alongside an agency.

-Understanding of social media analytics and content performance metrics.

-Experience with CapCut or similar editing software.

What Success Looks Like

-Consistent weekly execution of the agency’s content plan.

-A steady pipeline of high-quality product and lifestyle content from both store locations.

-Strong communication and accountability through weekly reporting to the agency.

 

Pay range $20-$22 an hour.

This is a part-time, in-person position. Must be flexible with occasional weekend availability required.
